abruzzoLENTO is directly linked to a sociological research project funded by a regional post-doc grant under the 2007-2013 ESF OP (Regional Competitiveness and Employment Objective) and provided by the University of Teramo, entitled ""Slow Travels: eco-tourist slow-mobility itineraries for the enhancement of Abruzzo.""
The objective-guide concerns the activation of a path of territorial animation for the participatory design of itineraries and soft-mobility tourism packages (mountain biking, horseback riding, trekking) aimed at upgrading a dense network of existing bridleways in Abruzzo's inland areas.
