The Spira Gi group chose as its legal form that of the Social Cooperative Enterprise. The form of Social Cooperative or Social Cooperative Enterprise (Coin.S.Ep) is a new legal possibility in Greece introduced by law 4019/11. Coin.S.Ep is the main body of the Social Economy, i.e. the space that lies between the public and the private sector, the one that is usually called the third sector of the economy. In addition to the K.S.Ep, many other organizations are active in this area, such as associations and unions, cooperatives and networks, non-governmental organizations, etc. with the basic characteristic that they are grassroots ventures of civil society. The basic principles of a Social Cooperative Enterprise are the group - cooperative that establishes and operates it, its social character and purpose, its viability as an economic but non-profit unit. These businesses are created and registered/published in the Social Economy Register of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Welfare. We aim to promote local and collective interest, to promote employment, to strengthen social cohesion and local or regional development.
Como Una Cabra is a Spanish association that was born with a triple objective: - Generate wealth and decent work in rural areas; - Promote equal opportunities between men and women; - Promote more sustainable environments by promoting business models that respect the environment and people. To do this, Como Una Cabra offers training and mentoring for women entrepreneurs in order to help them to start up a sustainable business (businesses with social and enviromental impact) in the rural areas. Como Una Cabra also works with entities and municipalities so that they can offer training services and offers consulting services to organizations for the development of innovative educational methodologies and training. Como Una Cabra operates nationally and internationally, bringing together learners from different areas and sectors of activity, in particular with rural women. It currently has a community of more than 500 female entrepreneurs living in rural areas.

EILD coordinates activities across Greece through our secretariat based in Greece and through our European consultants. Our staff members are experienced in implementing local development actions in remote, marginalized and difficult accessed areas. We participate and lead global actions and initiatives that contribute to regional development across the globe. We contribute to the integration of the whole areas in a more balanced way through economic, social, and environmentally beneficial initiatives in order to extensively increase the population’s quality of life.
PRISM is a non-for-profit Social Enterprise with the mission to create equal opportunities for the responsive progress of societies, communities and people - acting as a qualified development agent, since 2012, with its operational seat in the city of Palermo and its registered office in Enna, Italy. PRISM represents a co-planning hub, open to public and private actors, for the elaboration of tailored development strategies and interventions, aimed at valorising diversity and sharing the social, cultural and economic resources of local communities, from an international perspective. The main areas of intervention, contributing to increased social impact are: Entrepreneurship and Employability, Research, Innovation and new technologies, Social Cohesion, Equity and Equality, Local Development and Sustainability, International Cooperation, Mobility and Youth.
Cooperativa fuori dal Sommerso is a not for profit organisation founded in Mesagne (in Puglia, South of Italy) in 2001; it has a staff of 21 professionals and is active in the field of adults, active aging, social and job integration of vulnerable target groups (in particular person with disability). Our mission is to enhance the quality of life of seniors by maintaining their independence and dignity Our supportive services help seniors meet their daily living needs at home, which greatly impacts their health and ability to remain living independently. With community-based assistance, seniors can thrive at home where they are happiest. We are the safety net. SOMMERSO offers a vital support system for vulnerable elderly with limited options who would otherwise not have access to or be able to afford services. In particular our main services are: home help, meal distribution, adults workshop. We may be able to refer disabled persons to wheelchair accessible housing or transportation or other services in our city. In addition, periodically we organize recreational events in order to provide the opportunity for further interaction and socialization among our target group. Finally we adhere to the European network Euro-net, working on the development of training, mobility and European co-operation for the Puglia region. Sommerso provide 2 kind of Home care Services for Seniors: • rehabilitation, supportive, health-promoting or disease-preventive and technical nursing care, both for chronic and acute conditions (the latter are better known as hospital-at-home schemes), occupational therapy and physiotherapy; • home health care recipients would be mostly older people, people with complex illnesses and people with terminal illness. (art 88 Puglia Region) Home help services, traditionally provided by the social service sector, instead, comprise: • household duties, such as shopping, cooking, cleaning and administrative paperwork (such as filling in forms and paying bills), activities such as socializing or going for walks and delivering personal care (help with bathing and dressing, etc.); • these services commonly substitute for informal care; nevertheless, they could also stimulate it (help for family members, neighbours or friends) and provide moral and psychological support (counselling and advice); and • once again, most people receiving home help services are older people, many of them living alone. (art 87 Puglia Region) Home care assistants, or aides, are the foundation of the home care workforce because of the wide variety of services they provide. These services can range from assisting with therapy and the activities of daily living to preparing food. Home care assistants typically visit most frequently and spend the most time with the person receiving care.

EPIC is an NGO that was established in Italy in early 2020 to build on the experience of its members coming from various social and educational backgrounds to promote the values of European integration in all its social and economic facets. The core of the association is to promote awareness and ownership of the fundamental concepts of cohesion that stand behind the European Union. EPIC organises events of awareness among civil society and groups of citizens to provide concrete and valuable examples of the many positive opportunities of the European Union to inspire the population at large and share the values of European integration. The purpose of those activities is to promote engagement among various cohorts of target groups, ranging from youth to seniors.
Innovalley is an association established in 2019 by young entrepreneurs, managers and startuppers (50+ members) for the economic empowerment of the territory. The main purpose is to promote the digital innovation ecosystem, through the networking of professionals, stakeholders, companies and institutions, sharing projects and solutions with a view to Open Innovation. Innovalley is waiting to obtain the status of certified incubator of innovative start-ups by the MISE, operating as a link between local innovation stakeholders (Digital Innovation Hub, university spin-offs and start-ups). It is already part of the Invitalia StartUp System, which brings together the 50 best Italian Incubators and Accelerators. It has partnerships with H-FARM, PoliHUB, Enterprise Europe Network, and Match 4.0 Digital Innovation Hub of Confindustria Abruzzo. Since the end of 2020, Innovalley has about 30 Start-ups and Spinoffs on the waiting list that want to be incubated and / or receive advice.
With over 20 years of combined experience in research and education, RESET invests in the creation, evolution, and revolution of social-driven concepts, systems and practices that prioritize humanity and respond to our time's most demanding societal challenges. Our organization focuses on knowledge acceleration so as to amplify positive local, national, regional and global change RESET aims to “shape the future together” through Research, Education and Dialogue. As coordinator and partner in more than 30+ EU (Erasmus+, ISF-P, H2020) and International projects (University of Queensland-Australia, Davis Projects for Peace-US) we undertake high-quality management, implementation and dissemination. The purpose of RESET is to promote a fair and nonviolent world through education, open dialogue, skill development among professionals and vulnerable groups, and constructive participatory action. RESET is working in close cooperation with governmental departments, local municipalities, NGOs, commercial entities, and educational institutions in order to address market, social, economic and cultural challenges. RESET belief, is that the three pillars of our work, Research, Education and Dialogue can lead to creative solutions that impact significant change to the social fabric of every society. RESET team is composed of experienced, fully equipped researchers, dialogue facilitators, trainers, educators, project managers, web developers & graphic designers. The areas of expertise are in the fields of community and youth-led initiatives, education/e-learning, social inclusion, dialogue and social empowerment. RESET has been awarded as one of the two organisations responsible for the coordination and implementation of YoungCities, a programme funded by the Youth Board of Cyprus, with the aim of empowering young people to make positive and active changes in their communities. RESET was mainly responsible for the design and delivery of a ten-week educational programme that promoted education towards community change among young people using innovative learning tools and approaches. Our trainers are also part of the Cyprus Youth Council trainers working closely with youth on several aspects such as social reintegration, empowerment, active citizenship, conflict resolution and prevention of radicalization. Furthermore, our trainers have also undertook international-level training by the United States Institute of Peace on ‘Introduction to Peacebuilding’ and ‘Media and Arts for Peace’ which is knowledge that they fully apply on youth-related conflict-resolution and radicalization prevention work
Language school PELICAN provides language courses and exams. In PELICAN we also focus on teacher training and retrainings, as well as personal and professional development courses. Language school PELICAN is engaged in a number of other activities beyond the scope of teaching itself. Most of these activities are covered by the non-profit organization Association PELICAN, which seeks to promote innovation in education, intercultural understanding and cooperation, the inclusion of minorities and work with youth. The activities of Association PELICAN are based on the long-term efforts of Language School PELICAN to expand and improve teaching methods in language and other courses. The main goal of Association PELICAN is methodological support and development of lecturers. Within the European educational projects and cooperation with organisations on European and global scale, they develop educational materials, tools, teaching methods and new didactic approaches. We also worked or are currently working on European projects which focus for example on environmental issues, development of innovative tools to support online and distance learning, support of disadvantaged groups (children and adults) and integration and support of children, youth and adults.
Foundation for the Development of International and Educational Activity – FRAME is a Polish NGO established, by university professors and experts practitioners, in response to the observed changes in the socio-economic environment of Poland and Europe with the aim to develop and promote international cooperation of local communities supporting education, professional activity and the well-being of citizens. Our beneficiaries represent diversified target groups with the main focus on: • people with migrational background (both from the perspective of adults, schools and children), • adult learners, teachers, trainers, career counselors, • people aged 50+ (active aging), • entrepreneurs (including social entrepreneurship, creative sectors, environmental sectors), • disadvantaged groups.
