"Founded in 1988, today it is the world's largest association of women in wine and has more than 900 members including producers, restaurateurs, wine shop owners, sommeliers, journalists and wine experts throughout Italy.
Each Italian region is co-ordinated by a regional delegate, elected by the members of that region: the delegate brings together her members whenever decisions have to be made on events, participations of various kinds, always related to the world of wine, in her region."
